Alola App

Alola is a startup located in San Francisco. It's a smart application for personal pantry management, and shopping for healthy food.
It learns about user's habits and creates a personalized grocery list for them and their household each week.

Goals
Simplifying the signing up process.
Understanding what triggers different personas to buy grocery online.
Finishing the whole brand identity in less than a week
Design Approach
Understanding the business needs and prospective client needs from the platform.
Prioritized key functionality needed for initial app release.
Collaborated with the CEO & CTO to maintain cohesive design.
Personas and Sitemaps
Sketching out a sitemap allowed me to establish a hierarchy. Which in turn, clarified the relationships between categories, tasks and urgent tasks.
Wireframes
Adopted an iterative method of brainstorming, sketching, wireframing prototypes and user testing until we met our goal.

Brand Identity 👨🏻🎨
I enjoyed designing the brand identity even though it had to be done in less than a two week. I tried to convey the message and essence of the brand as a fresh, modern grocery management app.
